It's January Jackpot time again - and that means Illawarra Mercury readers are in line to win fabulous prizes.

We've got everything from a great computer package and loads of cash, to electrical products and mountain bikes to give away in coming weeks.

Heading the prize list is a $3000 computer package from Hewlett Packard and the Harvey Norman Computer Superstore, King St, Warrawong.

One lucky reader will win a computer due for first release in January, a printer with colour ink jet, and a scanner. And, if the winner is a Mercury Gold Card member who has the newspaper home delivered six days a week, we will throw in a bonus $2000 cash.

Daily prizes will be given away over three weeks from next Monday, culminating in the big computer/cash draw.

Week 1 prizes, from Samsung and Harvey Norman, Warrawong, will include a microwave oven, a two-head video recorder, a 51cm colour television, a camcorder and a homefax.

In Week 2, one reader every day will win a $400 package of family passes to Australia's Wonderland, Old Sydney Town, Sydney Aquarium, Taronga Zoo, Symbio Wildlife Gardens, Hangdog, the Cockatoo Run and Warrawong Supa Putt.

In Week 3, we will give away five Malvern Star Response mountain bikes with Rosebank Volante helmets, each valued at $410, from Wilson's Discount Bikes.

How do you put yourself in the running for these great prizes? It's easy. A January Jackpot Competition entry coupon will appear in The Mercury each day from today until January 17 (see page 16 today).

Just complete the coupon and post it to January Jackpot Competition, PO Box 1756, Wollongong 2500, or place it in the barrel at The Mercury office, 282 Keira St, Wollongong, or in the barrel at the Harvey Norman Computer Superstore, Warrawong.

You may enter as many coupons as you wish. The more you enter, the greater your winning chances.

Daily prizes will be drawn Monday to Friday from December 29 and announced in The Mercury the following day. The computer draw will take place on Wednesday, January 21.
